Wren Farm alpaca trekking experiences our fully insured and ELDC licensed. Whilst every precaution is made to ensure your safety, please be aware that these are animals, and as such partaking in an alpaca experience is done so at your own risk, and the instructions of your guide must be followed at all times.

1. All experiences are supervised by a suitably trained guide; customers must remain with the group whilst they have an alpaca.

2. All experiences must be booked and paid for at the time of booking. Gift vouchers may be issued for gifts or if you are uncertain of the date you like to visit

3. For the alpaca walking experience, children aged up to an including 12 must share an alpaca with a responsible adult who is in control of the animal with the child holding a second lead rope.

4. Hand washing facilities are provided, those who accompany children have responsibility to ensure that adequate hand washing takes place.

5. Please wear sensible outdoor clothing and footwear suitable for the weather conditions.

6. Please arrive 10 minutes before your booked experience is due to begin.

7. Dogs are not allowed to accompany you on the experience, this is for the safety of our animals. However they are welcome on the rest of the farm/in the cafe.

8. The experiences include a safety briefing at the beginning, anyone not adhering to the information provided will be asked to the leave the experience without compensation. Participants must have the ability to understand and follow health and safety guidelines.

9. There will be a maximum of 5 alpacas per experience. Please note you may be sharing your alpaca with other people.

10. During the experience we may take photos which may be published on our social media profiles and website, please let us know at the beginning of the experience if you prefer not to have your photo taken.

11. Photographs with the alpacas is allowed at suitable times during the experience.

12. The experience is unsuitable for anyone with access needs and participants must have reasonable physical fitness as this is a walking experience.

13. Ther experience last approximately 1-2 hours. You won't feel rushed as this is a relaxing and enjoyable time and the alpacas walk at their own pace but please let us know beforehand if you need the experience to finish at/by a certain time

14. Please be aware that the trek can be cancelled due to poor weather (this would make it enjoyable for the alpacas and yourself). In this case a mutually convenient date will be chosen. You will be contacted via the phone number you have provided at least 4 hours prior to the start time if this is the case, and a suitable alternative date will also be arranged.

15. All participants will be asked to sign a waiver before the experience acknowledging their understanding and adherence to these terms and conditions.
